in the last 24 hours my bookcase, headboard and two night stands have been assembled and arranged - many thanks to kevin for the big stuff. i took care of the night stands myself tonight. i'm not going to pretend it was easy, but they are finished and somehow the drawers on those little suckers work. really, that's just about all i can ask for. {insert sighs of relief and jumps of joy}yes things are starting to come together. hopefully i can set aside a few hours this weekend to organize and get ready for all my upcoming guests.
but i'm still not sure what i want to do with all my blank wall space! i have a few things and ideas in mind. i do love my decals and happen to have some left over from my old bedroom. but my bedroom is not my concern...its this big blank red wall in my living room behind my couch.
i suppose its time to start pursuing etsy. hmmmm too bad renegade isn't sooner. or maybe i should pay attention to all those design/decorating/apartment theory-like blogs i subscribe to?
but ya know what would be easier? your help! :)
suggestions my friends?

Let me know if there's something you want. Personally, I love how this stuff looks on my walls at home!

A great (inexpensive) way to cover walls is to go to ikea or a cool equivalent and buy curtains to hang along the entire wall. It's best to get something with cool texture or pattern. No painting or hanging of paintings required!
yea yea yea! i'm all about thenest.com

#1: you can always go to the Renegade brick & mortar shop on Division, so no excuses there.
#2: for noncommittal decor, find some lovely patterned fabric in a contrasting color to your red wall, staple that behind some thrift store frames all painted the same color and hang in awesome fashion.
I will email a janky photoshopped version of the above idea to you shortly.
Check out the blog "Young House Love". They are a couple renovating their house and they are super, duper crafty and everything is really inexpensive. Makes me want to move. Frequently.
thanks for all the suggestions ladies. its a work in progress...
Nice wall sticker are they removeable
