noted.

i read. a lot.
lots of books. lots of magazines. lots (and lots) of blogs.
naturally, people say inspiring, geniune, thought-provoking, funny or just things that speak to you for whatever reason. i write these things down.

here are some of them from my optimistic stash...
it's difficult to parse out someone else's formative moments from their trival ones when you weren't there to witness either.

happiness is a consequence of person effort.

you must be very poliet with yourself when you are learning something new.

the future is called "perhaps", which is the only possible thing to call the future. and the important thing is not to allow that to scare you.

you cannot always change circumstances, but you can always change your reaction to them.

living in the past is a dull and lonely business; looking back strains the neck muscles, cause you to bump into people not going your way.

if i am doing nothing, i like to be doing nothing to some purpose. that is what leisure means.

I like the last one. It reminds me of my husbands affection for rocking chairs. He says they make him feel more productive.

I like this quote a lot. I also like the idea of making note of inspiring quotes you find. I read a ton of books & blogs and often come across interesting quotes or ideas but ALWAYS forget to write them down!

I love quotes and notes! Whenever I read my books, I'm always dog-earring stuff to add to my Goodreads quotes list :)
